2 c. cornmeal

1/2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

2 tbsp. finely chopped

parsley

6 drops of hot sauce

milk

2 we 11-beaten eggs

11ge. onion, chopped

1 tbsp. lard, melted

Mix first 4 ingredients; add milk, eggs and onion.
Stir in lard.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot deep fat in which fish has been cooked.
Fry until brown.
