Easy Chow Mein Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 can luncheon meat, cubed | ||
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 1 No. 2 can bean sprouts | ||
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Saute meat and onion in small amount of hot fat in skillet until onion is tender; add celery, salt, pepper and 3/4 cup water.
Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes Drain bean sprouts; rinse well.
Add bean sprouts to meat mixture.
Blend cornstarch, soy sauce and sugar with 1/3 cup water; stir into meat mixture.
Simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is clear and thickened.
