Easy Chop Suey Recipe
Ingredients
| Beef | 3 Pound | |
| Pork | 3 Pound | |
| Onions | 2 , chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 3 cans chop suey vegetables | ||
| 1 1/2 c. brown gravy molasses | ||
| Soy sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cooked rice | ||
Directions
Cut beef and pork into bite-sized pieces.
Combine beef, pork, onion and celery; place small amount of fat in saucepan.
Add meats mixture; cook, stirring, until lightly browned.
Add chop suey vegetables and 3 vegetable cans water; simmer for about 2 hours.
Stir in molasses and soy sauce.
Blend cornstarch with 1 cup cold water; stir into meats mixture in sauce- pan.
Cook, stirring, until thickened.
Serve over rice.
