3 to 4 squares Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
7 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
Combine sugar, salt, milk, and vanilla; blend.
Add melted chocolate and butter and mix well.
Let stand, stirring occasionally, until of right consistency to spread.
If necessary, place bowl in pan of ice and water to hasten thickening.
