Easy Caramel Icing Recipe

Directions

Place butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, stir over low heat until simmering and continue simmering for exactly 4 minutes.
Add milk, bring to boil, cook.
Pour onto sifted icing sugar, add lemon juice, and mix well.
Pour onto cake, sprinkle with nuts and allow to set.
Variations: Add 1 oz.
grated dark chocolate, or add 1/2 -tspn, coffee essence, or sift 1/2 -tspn, instant coffee with the icing sugar.
