Easy Baked Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
3 pounds spareribs
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 cup catsup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Cut ribs into serving-size pieces, place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes.
Saute onion in butter over medium heat until tender.
Remove from heat, and set onion aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
Stir in onion.
Pour mixture over ribs.
Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
