Ingredients

 
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
 
2 cups water
 
1 cup tomato juice
 
1 tablespoon Spread Sticks
 
1 tablespoon freeze-dried chopped chives (optional)
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 teaspoon sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
 
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
1 cup Rice, uncooked
 
3/4 cup milk, light cream or evaporated milk

Directions

Mix soup, water and juice in large saucepan.
Add spread, chives, salt, sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Stir in rice and milk.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with additional chopped chives or popcorn, if desired.
