Easy Summer Squash Recipe

Ingredients

 
4 medium onions, thinly sliced
 
6-8 small yellow summer squash, thinly sliced (2-2 1/2 pounds)
 
Salt and fresh pepper to taste
 
2-3 tablespoons butter
 
Chopped fresh marjoram to taste
 
1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions

Grease an 8- to 9-inch baking dish with a little of the butter.
Arrange onions and squash alternately in dish.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and marjoram between layers and on top.
Drizzle heavy cream over top.
Place in 375° F oven for 20 minutes until tender.
