Easy Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| Brown-and-serve French bread - 1 (10 oz.) pkg. (2 loaves) | ||
| Fresh tomatoes - 3 to 4 , sliced | ||
| Parmesan cheese, grated | ||
| Sharp cheddar cheese package | 1/2 , sliced (Salad or olive oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Anchovy fillets, | 1 Can (10oz) (Salad or olive oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon (Salad or olive oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Dried basil | 1/2 Teaspoon (Salad or olive oil - 1/4 cup) | |
| Dried marjoram or thyme leaves - 1/2 teaspoon | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 400°F
MAKING
2 Cut the loaves in halves, lengthwise.
3 Brush the cut surfaces with part of oil.
4 Cover with tomatoes.
5 Sprinkle with grated cheese.
6 Top with cheese slices.
7 Arrange anchovy fillets on top.
8 In a small bowl, combine herbs.
9 Evenly sprinkle over each pizza.
10 Drizzle lightly with the remaining oil.
11 Place on a baking sheet.
12 Bake in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
SERVING
13 Slice and serve.
