Ingredients

 12 qt. yellow crab apples
 Cinnamon stick1 1 Ounce, broken
 Whole Cloves1/2 Ounce
 Sugar12 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cider vinegar6 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water8 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Wash the crab apples and pack into sterilized quart jars.
Divide the stick cinnamon and whole cloves among the jars.
Combine the sugar, vinegar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Cover the apples with boiling syrup.
Place the lids and rings on the jars and process in a boiling water bath for 18 to 20 minutes or until skins on crab apples begin to break.
