Easy Opera Fudge Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 3 - or 3 1/4-ounce packages regular vanilla pudding mix | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Powdered sugar | 1 16 Ounce, sifted | |
| 1/3 cup nuts or candied cherries, chopped | ||
Directions
In 2-quart glass bowl micro-melt the butter about 1 minute.
Stir in dry mix and milk.
Micro-cook, uncovered, till boiling, about 3 minutes; stir occasionally.
Cook 1 minute more, stirring every 15 seconds.
Add vanilla.
Beat in sugar; stir in nuts or cherries.
Pour into buttered 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with nut halves, if desired.
Chill; cut in 1-inch squares.
Store in refrigerator.
