1 In a pan, combine all the ingredients.
2 Pour in1 liter of water and cover the pan.
3 Cook for 30 minutes on medium heat.
4 Once the lentils are soft and the vegetables are cooked, transfer the soup to a food processor.
5 Puree until it reaches a soft consistency.
6 Return the soup to the pan.
7 Adjust the spices to your taste, and cook for another 15 minutes without covering the pan.
8 Serve the soup hot in individual soup bowls.
