Easy Homemade Mayonnaise in 10 Minutes or Less Recipe Video
A delicious, creamy and super-easy mayo you can make at home with only healthy ingredients. Paleo and Primal approved. All you need is a jar and an immersion blender.
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 Large | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Light olive oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pecan nut oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Macadamia nut oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a sterilized glass jar, squeeze in the lemon juice.
2. Crack the egg in the jar.
3. Add the dry mustard powder and the salt.
4. Pour in quarter cup of olive oil.
5. Using an immersion blender, blend the contents of the jar.
6. Pour in another quarter cup of olive oil in a slow drizzle while working on the contents of the jar with the blender.
7. Repeat the same process to drizzle in the last quarter cup of olive oil.
8. Drizzle in the pecan nut oil and the macadamia nut oil in the same process. Make sure to move the blender in a circular motion to blend the oil well until it comes to the consistency and texture of mayonnaise.
SERVING
9. Serve it as a sandwich spread or as a condiment.
