Ingredients

 4 (5- to 7-oz.) firm-texture fish steaks or skinless fillets, about 3/4 inch thick
 1/4 to 1/3 cup Mayonnaise or other mayonnaise
 Parmesan cheese2 Tablespoon, grated
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Preheat broiler.
Rinse steaks or fillets; pat dry with paper towels.
Season with salt and pepper.
Spread 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise over top of each steak or fillet.
Sprinkle 1-1/2 teaspoons cheese on top of each.
Place on broiling pan.
Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat, 5 to 8 minutes or until top is puffed and brown, and fish tests done.
