Put baking mix in a bowl; add sour cream and stir with a fork to form a stiff dough.
Form dough into a ball; place on a floured board and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with a floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter or knife.
Place on a greased baking sheet—close together for soft-sided biscuits, or 1 inch apart for crusty ones.
Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden.
