Easter Ring Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| 1/4 cup sweet orange marmalade | ||
| Lemon Butter Fluff Icing | ||
Directions
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt; blend in shortening and 2/3 cup orange juice.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer.
Blend in remaining orange juice with eggs, beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
Fold in orange marmalade and turn into greased and lightly floured 9 inch tube pan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes or until tests done.
Cool completely before removing from pan.
Frost with Lemon Butter Fluff Icing, and decorate with flowers.
