Ealthy Oat Granola Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 2/3 cups Quaker Oat Bran hot cereal, uncooked | ||
| Quick oats | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| 1/3 cup instant nonfat dry milk solids | ||
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup hulled sunflower seeds | ||
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange peel | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 cup dried banana chips | ||
| Raisins | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine oat bran, oats, dry milk solids, honey, sunflower seeds, oil, water, orange peel and vanilla; mix well.
Spread in 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once after 10 minutes.
Stir in banana chips and raisins.
Cool completely.
Store tightly covered up to 1 week.
Serve cold or hot with skim milk or as a topping over fruit, low fat yogurt or ice milk, if desired.
