Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a small mug, crumble the yeast and pour lukewarm water on top. Stir until yeast dissolves and leave aside for 10 minutes until frothy.
MAKING
2. In a saucepan, bring 1 ½ cups water to a boil
3. Add the sugar, salt, shortening and heat to lukewarm.
4. Take pan off the heat and blend in the yeast mixture and the eggs.
5. Add the liquid to the flour in a large basin and beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until it forms a ball of dough.
6. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate until required.
SERVING
7. Use the dough to make cookies and buns.
