Dutch Sour Cream Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups cake flour
Directions
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and beat thoroughly.
Dissolve soda in cream and add.
Stir in flavorings.
Sift flour and add.
The mixture should be a soft dough consistency Shape into a roll, wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight.
When firm slice thin and bake in moderate oven (375°F.) 10 minutes.
Makes 50 small cookies.
