Dutch Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients
6 fresh peaches
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon cornstarch or quick-cooking tapioca
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Peel peaches.
Remove stones and cut in eighths.
Arrange in pie shell.
Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch thoroughly.
Add cream and vanilla and pour over peaches.
Bake in a hot oven (450° F) 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 325° F and bake 30 minutes longer or until peaches are tender.
