Dutch Toasts Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 small sweet dill pickle | ||
| Tomatoes | 2 Small | |
| Cooked chicken | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Capers | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bread slice | 4 | |
| Cucumber | 1/2 | |
| Gouda cheese slice | 4 | |
Directions
Finely chop the pickle.
Put the tomatoes into boiling water for 30-15 seconds; peel and cut into thick slices.
Mix the chicken with the pickle, parsley, oil, capers and mayonnaise.
Toast the slices of bread.
Cover with tomato slices and then spoon on the chicken mixture.
Slice the cucumber very thinly and arrange on the chicken mixture.
Cover with a slice of cheese and place under the broiler until the cheese melts.
