Ingredients

 1/2 lb. bacon, or ham chunks
 Onions4 Medium, sliced
 Green beans2 Quart
 Canned tomatoes4 Cup (16 tbs), stewed
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a skillet, brown the bacon till it has crisped. Drain the bacon and keep 2 tablespoons of the drippings aside.
2) Into small pieces, crumble the bacon.
3) In the bacon drippings, sauté the onions.
4) In a slow cooker, combine together all the ingredients.
5) Cover the cooker and cook over low heat for 4 ½ hours.

SERVING
6) Serve hot.
