Dutch Beets Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon sugar
14 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons minced onion
Dash of pepper
2 cups sliced or diced cooked beets
Directions
In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour; add boiling water and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and smooth.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar, onion, pepper, and beets; heat slowly for 10 to 15 minutes.
