Dutch Apple Pie Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups sliced apples
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons rich milk, or sweet cream, or 6 tablespoons sour cream pastry for 1 (9 inch) crust
Directions
Make crumb mixture by combining sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon.
Place sliced apples in unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over top.
Add milk.
Put tin foil or a damp strip of cotton around edge.
Bake in a 450 degree oven for thirty minutes.
Reduce heat to 400 degrees and bake for fifteen minutes longer.
