250 gms. vermicelli
250 gms. sugar
1 teaspoon rose essence
1/2 teaspoon cardamom seeds
1 1/2 litre milk
Directions
1. Place the vermicelli in a vessel after breaking it into 2" pieces along with three teacups of water. When the vermicelli boils and swells and is soft to the touch drain the water and add the milk, sugar and cardamom seeds and allow to thicken over a slow fire for 10 minutes.
2. Remove from the fire, add the rose essence and cool. Serve with rose petals.
