Dry Moong Dhal Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup moong dhal
2 tablespoons butter or ghee
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon pomegranate seed powder
2 green chillies, chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Soak the dhal.
Boil it on a moderate fire in three cups of water.
Add the turmeric and green chillies.
When it becomes quite soft, drain out any water still left.
Then put in butter or ghee and pomegranate seed powder while it is quite hot.
Shake the pan and cook for a few minutes more on a low fire.
The grains of the (dhal must be whole and dry, and not mashed.)
