Dropped Baking Powder Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
Flour – 2 cups, sifted
Baking Powder – 3 teaspoon
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Shortening – 6 tablespoon
Milk – 1 cup
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and salt together
2) Using a knife, cut the shortening and add to the flour mixture
3) Using the hands mix in till the mixture becomes coarse
4) Add the milk and blend well
5) In a saucepan, scald the milk and then quickly allow to cool
6) Add to the flour and mix well
7) Drop teaspoons of the mixture onto a lightly greased and floured cookie sheet
8) Bake at 400F till browned

9) Serve warm
