Dried Apple Pie Recipe
Everybody's Thanksgiving Apple Pie.This is my creation of Dried Apple Pie for all my friends & relatives.

1/2 lb Dried apples
3 c Cider
1/2 c Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Mace
1 Double 9" unbaked pie crust
3 T Butter
Directions
Simmer apples and cider until apples are tender. Mix brown sugar,
cinnamon and mace. Add to apples and cook about 10 minutes more. (Juice
should be about gone). Cool. Pour into crust. Dot with butter. Cover
with topp crust or lattice strips. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 30 to 40
minutes-until crust is light brown.
