My American friend is currently visiting Morocco and he called me to tell me how much he loved the Moroccan smoothies especially the ones with dried fruit. If you ever get a chance to visit morocco, do not forget to try the smoothies sold by the street vendors, they are amazing! In the meantime, here are 2 easy recipe for this summer: Avocado & Dried Fruit smoothie as well as the Orange & Dried Apricots smoothie.

Directions

Remove the pits from the dates.


Soak the dates and raisins in hot water for 5-10 minutes until they soften. If the dates are moist, there is no need to soak them in water.

Drain the dates and raisins from the water and let them cool down.

Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Serve the juice cold.
