Dressed-Up Pears Recipe

Ingredients
| Strawberries | 1 Cup (16 tbs), halved | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tablespoon Triple Sec or other orange-flavored liqueur | ||
| 8 canned unsweetened pear halves, chilled | ||
| Zest of 1 orange | ||
Directions
Place strawberries in container of on electric blender; process until pureed.
Transfer strawberries to a small bowl, and set aside.
Combine water and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring until blended.
Add cornstarch mixture and Triple Sec to strawberries; stir until well blended.
Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens and boils.
Chill thoroughly.
Divide sauce among 4 individual dessert plates with slightly raised edges; place two pear halves on top of sauce in each plate.
Garnish with orange zest before serving.
