Double Cheese Meat Roll Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
3/4 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 8-02. cans tomato sauce with cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
"Combine beef, egg, cracker crumbs, onions, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.
Mix well; shape into flat rectangle on waxed paper.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over meat mixture.
Roll up jelly roll fashion; press ends to seal.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour; drain off excess fat.
Pour remaining tomato sauce over roll.
Bake for 15 minutes longer."
