Double Oat Muffins Recipe
Double Oat Muffins is an easy to prepare side dish. The delicious Double Oat Muffins wont let you to miss out to prepare this.
Ingredients
2 cups QUAKER® Oat Bran hot cereal, uncooked
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
1 cup skim milk
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup QUAKER® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
Directions
Heat oven to 400°F.
Line 12 medium muffin cups with paper baking cups or grease lightly.
Combine oat bran, 1/3 cup brown sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Add combined milk, egg whites, oil and vanilla, mixing just until moistened.
Fill muffin cups almost full.
Combine oats and 1 tablespoon brown sugar; sprinkle evenly over muffin tops.
Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to wire rack.
Cool completely.
