Double Fruit Soda Recipe
The DRINKNAME tag is so tasty, I just cannot contain myself from recommending it to all and sundry. Whenever I have Italian friends visiting I always prepare Double Fruit Soda which is most loved by them. The main ingredient in Double Fruit Soda is Fruits. I dare you to come up with a better Double Fruit Soda recipe than this.
Ingredients
3/4 cup bottled strawberry syrup
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 quart club soda
1 pint each orange sherbert, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry ice cream
6 fresh strawberries for garnish
1 orange, sliced with peel on for garnish
Directions
Place 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup in the bottom of 6 tall glasses.
Spoon 2 tablespoons whipped cream into each and stir well with a spoon.
Pour in about 2 tablespoons soda and stir until foamy.
To each glass add 1 scoop each orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry ice cream.
Pour soda into each glass, filling to the top, stir lightly, and add a dollop of whipped cream.
Garnish each drink with a strawberry.
Cut a slit just to the center of each orange slice and insert a slice over the side of each glass.
