Ingredients

 
Marinade
 
1 cup (250 ml) dry white wine
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) lime juice
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) fresh chopped ginger
 
2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
 
1/4 tsp (1 ml) crushed chillies
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) soya sauce
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
 
Salt and pepper
 
Recipe
 
3/4 lb (375 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
 
1 large halibut steak, cubed

Directions

Preheat barbecue at HIGH.
Mix marinade ingredients together in bowl.
Place shrimp and halibut in marinade.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Thread fish on skewers.
Place on hot grill and cover; cook 8 minutes.
Turn twice, baste occasionally and season well.
