Dorchester Fudge Recipe
Ingredients
| Semi-sweet chocolate package | 1 , finely chopped | |
| 1/2 cup marshmallow topping | ||
| Nuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/4 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature | ||
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Evaporated milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Place chocolate in a bowl with marshmallow topping, nuts, butter and vanilla; set aside.
Combine sugar and milk in 2-quart saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to allow rolling boil.
Keep at full rolling boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Carefully pour boiling sugar syrup over chocolate mixture and stir until chocolate is melted.
Four into buttered 8-inch square pan.
Chill until firm, about 1 hour.
Cut into squares.
