Djaajmishwi Recipe
Ingredients
| Juice 1 large lemon | ||
| 4 cloves garlic, crushed with pinch salt | ||
| black pepper | 1 | |
| 6 chicken pieces, half-breasts or legs | ||
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 lemon, sliced wafer-thin | ||
| Garlic sauce | ||
Directions
Combine lemon juice, garlic and pepper. Marinate chicken pieces in this mixture for at least 1 hour, turning several times. Brush grill rack with oil and add chicken pieces, skin side down. Cook under a preheated grill for about 10 minutes, then turn over. Continue to grill for a further 5 minutes then arrange slices of lemon on top and continue to grill further few minutes, until chicken is cooked. Serve with garlic sauce and salads. Serves 6.
