Dips From The Sea Recipe
Ingredients
| Shrimp Dip | ||
| Package cream cheese | 1 Large, softened | |
| Sour cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion | ||
| Red pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 pound small, cooked shrimp | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and fluffy.
Stir in lemon juice, green onion, red pepper, milk, and shrimp (reserve a few for garnish).
Season to taste with salt.
Cover and chill 2 to 4 hours to blend flavors.
Just before serving, stir gently, turn into a serving dish, and top with reserved shrimp and almonds.
Surround with a variety of crisp raw vegetables.
