Ingredients
2 tablespoons bacon drippings
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can (16 ounces) green beans, drained
1 can (16 ounces) luncheon meat, cut in 1/2 inch chunks
3 cups cooked rice
Directions
In a 4-cup glass measure, heat drippings 30 seconds.
Stir in flour.
Slowly stir in milk, blending well.
Cook until boiling, 3 to 4 minutes.
In a 2-quart glass casserole, combine cheese, green beans, and luncheon meat.
Blend with sauce.
Stir in rice.
Cook 5 to 7 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn halfway through cooking time.
Rest 10 minutes before serving.
