 1 English cucumber, cut into 1/4-inch (5-mm) slices
 Red onion1 , thinly sliced
 Marinade
 White vinegar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Granulated Sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vegetable oil2 Tablespoon
 Dill1 Tablespoon, dried
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper white1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

1. Combine cucumber and onion in a bowl.
2. In a small bowl, combine vinegar, water, sugar, oil, dill, salt and pepper. Pour over cucumber mixture; toss to coat thoroughly.
3. Chill for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
