Dill Tuna Yogurt Salad Recipe
This dilled tuna yogurt salad is a vegetable fish salad. Made with flaked and canned tuna, this tuna salad is herbed with dill for flavor. Dressed with yogurt and mayonnaise, it is delicious and can be served as a side in meals.
Ingredients
| Low fat plain yogurt | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons reduced calorie mayonnaise | ||
| 4 teaspoons snipped fresh dill or 1/2 teaspoon dill weed | ||
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1 can water packed tuna, drained and flaked | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Water chestnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| 1 small green onion, sliced thin | ||
| Lettuce leaves | 4 | |
Directions
In a medium size bowl, combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, dill, and pepper.
Add the tuna, celery, water chestnuts, and green onion and toss well.
Cover and chill for 1 or 2 hours, if you like, before serving on a bed of lettuce leaves.
