Simple Dilled Shrimp Recipe
|Medium shrimp||12 Ounce, peeled and deveined|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Tarragon vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced dill/2 tablespoons dill weed||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Use Fresh)|
|Stalk celery||1 Small, chopped|
|Green onions||2 , chopped|
|Head of lettuce||1 (Boston / Bibb)|

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
Simmer, uncovered, about 2 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.
Drain the shrimp and discard the liquid, lemon slices and bay leaf.
Transfer the shrimp to a medium glass bowl.
Add the 3/4 cup water, the vinegar, dill, celery and onions.
Stir until mixed.
Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
Drain the marinated shrimp and discard the marinade.
