 Green beans1 Can (10oz)
 Onion1 Medium, separated into rings
 Vinegar3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salad oil1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), slivered
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Dill weed1 Teaspoon
 Dry mustard1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Red cayenne pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Drain beans, reserving liquid in measuring cup.
Combine beans and onion rings.
Add enough water to reserved bean liquid to measure 1 cup.
Stir together liquid and remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables.
Cover; refrigerate at least 3 hours.
Remove garlic slivers.
