Dill Carrots And Parsnips Recipe
Dilled carrots and parsnips is a microwaved vegetable recipe prepared with milk. Flavored with added cream of celery soup, this saucy vegetables recipe is herbed simply with dill. Finished and seasoned with pepper if desired, it makes a delicious side.
Ingredients
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Condensed Cream of Celery Soup
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed, crushed
2 cups carrots cut into 1-inch- long sticks
2 cups parsnips cut into 1-inch-long sticks
Directions
In 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, stir soup until smooth.
Add milk and dill weed; stir until well blended.
Stir in carrots.
Cover with lid; micro wave on HIGH 6 minutes.
Stir in parsnips.
Cover; microwave on HIGH 13 minutes or until vegetables are nearly tender, stirring twice during cooking.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
