Dill Carrots Recipe
Is it you or the aroma of Dilled Carrots that you are making that has dragged me to the kitchen?, were my partner's words. I will prepare this Dilled Carrots as Side Dish for a get-together I am soon going to host. If any of your family member is on Low Fat diet then make Dilled Carrots for them. The main ingredient in this recipe is Vegetable. Believe me, just try this Dilled Carrots once, you'll love it.
Ingredients
2 medium-large carrots, diagonally sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon butter-flavored sprinkles
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh dill
Directions
1. Place the carrots in a 1-quart pot. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, water, lemon juice, and sprinkles, and pour over the carrots. Cover and place over low heat for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.
2. Uncover the pot, and cook and stir for 2 minutes, or until most of the water has evaporated.
