Dill Ring Recipe
Dill Ring is a better mood elevator than a bar of chocolate! Best enjoyed as a snack, this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. Add this Dill Ring recipe to your favorites...you are anyway going to be making it more often than you think!
Ingredients
Unflavored gelatin - 1 envelope
Eggs - 4
Dill weed - 2 tbsp.
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Vinegar - 1 cups
Heavy cream - 1 cup, whipped
Directions
MAKING
1) In 1/4 cup water, add gelatin and allow to soften.
2) In a bowl, add eggs and beat till thick and lemony.
3) In a double boiler, add the gelatin and pour in the beaten eggs.
4) Add in the dill weed, salt, and vinegar.
5) Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, till thickened.
6) Cool.
7) Gently fold in the whipped cream.
8) Pour into a ring mold.
9) Refrigerate for several hours, till ready to use.
SERVING
10) Serve as a snack.
