Dijon Carrots Recipe

The Dijon Carrots is a tasty vegetable dish which you can prepare at home or even serve it for one of your dinner parties! I love this wonderful Dijon Carrots recipe especially because it is one that has got me a lot of compliments!

Ingredients

 
1 1/2 Cups (375 ml) carrots, sliced in rounds
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
 
5 tbsp (75 ml) onions, finely sliced
 
4 tsp (20 ml) flour
 
1/2 Cup (125 ml) milk
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) strong mustard
 
Salt and pepper
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) chopped parsley

Directions

–  Cook carrots in a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water. Drain.
–  In a skillet, over low heat, melt butter and saute onions for 2 minutes. Add carrots and flour and stir.
–  Pour milk slowly into mixture and stir until thickened. Add mustard, salt and pepper and stir.
–  Heat for a few minutes, sprinkle with parsley and serve
