Diet Meat Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
Celery- 2 stalks, finely chopped
Onion- 1 medium-sized, finely chopped
Tomato- 1 ripe, finely chopped
Ground Turkey Breast- 2 pounds
Egg Whites- 2no.
Seasoning- to taste
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350F°.
2) In a bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy, but not stiff.
3) In another bowl, mix together celery, onion, tomato and ground turkey meat.
4) Gently fold in the egg white in the turkey mixture.
5) Add the seasoning to the turkey mixture.
MAKING
6) Transfer the turkey mixture into a PYREX dish.
7) Using a wet spatula, shape the meat into a loaf.
8) Bake in the oven for 45 minutes uncovered.
9) Put the lid on and bake for more 30 minutes.
10) Remove the meatloaf from the oven.
11) Allow the meatloaf to cool slightly.
12) Using a sharp knife slice the meatloaf.
SERVING
13) Serve with a small mixed salad and chutney if desired.
