Devilled Stuffed Avocado Pears Recipe
Ingredients
| Stuffing | ||
| French dressing- 150 ml / 1/4 pint / 2/3 cup | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| French mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato puree | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tabasco sauce- few drops | ||
| Sugar- a good pinch | ||
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Large red pepper- 1, diced | ||
| Spring onions | 2 , trimmed | |
| Tomatoes | 4 , skinned | |
| Large ripe avocado pears- 3 | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Lemon twists- to garnish | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Start by halving the avocados and discarding the stones
MAKING
2. In a bowl, mix the first 6 ingredeints together
3. In a bowl, now add the pepper, onions and tomatoes
4. Take the avocados and stones, and wipe surface of each half with lemon juice, spoon stuffing into the centres
5. Garnish each with a twist of lemon
SERVING
6. Serve chilled
