Ingredients
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
1 clove garlic, minced or crushed through a press
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
8 chicken drumsticks
Directions
1 Preheat the broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil.
2 In a small bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, yogurt, parsley (if using), garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover the bowl and refrigerate until serving time.
3 Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Stir the hot sauce into the melted butter.
4 Dip each drumstick into the butter mixture until completely coated and place them on the foil-lined pan. Broil the drumsticks 4 inches from the heat, about 7 minutes per side, or until the skin is golden and the juices run clear when pierced with a knife.
