Directions

Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions.
After the first rising, shape dough into a round loaf and place in a lightly greased 8-inch cake pan.
Let rise again.
Bake in a mod- erate oven (375° F.) for 35-45 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool on cake rack.
Blend cottage cheese and sour cream; add onion soup mix and deviled ham.
Mix well and chill.
When bread cools, cut an 8 pointed star, about 6 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches deep, from the center of round loaf.
Cut the center bread chunk into 24-30 cubes for dunking; toast lightly.
Just before serving time, place deviled ham mixture in hollow center of bread.
Serve with toasted bread cubes, or allow guests to cut "dunking bowl" in chunks to spread with mixture.
Makes about 21/2 cups mixture.
